The Creative Passions Svadhisthana Smoothie

This is great for your sacral chakra or "Svadhisthana" in Sanskrit. Located between the pubic bone and the navel, the svadhisthana is the source of creative and intimate energy – not only in terms of inspiration and sensuality, but also the source of the creation of human life.

  • 1/2 C Orange Juice

  • 1 Orange, Peeled, Sliced

  • 1 Mango, Peeled, Sliced

  • 1 Peach, Peeled, Sliced

  • 3 Carrots, Peeled, Shredded

  • 1 1/2 C Ice, Shaved

((Optional-Opt In or Opt Out-Exchange-Additives: Banana, Cinnamon, Persimmon, Granola, Papaya, Almond Milk))

White Chicken Chili

This is great for your solar plexus chakra or "Manipura" in Sanskrit. Located in the navel, the manipura is called the lustrous gem and is considered the second brain, your gut. It is embedded with neurons from the start (esophagus) all the way to the finish (colon). The manipura chakra is the seat of the body's agni, or fire and affects our digestive metabolism.

  • 2 large skinless, boneless chicken breasts

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1-2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 tsp. cumin (more or less to taste)

  • 1 C of chicken broth

  • 1 C of water

  • 15-19 oz cooked, tender Grabanzo beans, (if in a can then drained)

  • 15-19 oz cooked, tender Cannellini beans, (if in a can then drained)- (white kidney beans)

  • 12 oz cooked, white corn (if in a can, then drained)

  • 8 oz softened, chopped green chilis (if in a can then drained)

  • 3 drops of hot sauce

  • 8 oz + shredded Monterey Jack Cheese

  1. Cut chicken into 5 inch chunks.

  2. Saute chicken in olive oil.

  3. Add onion to chicken.

  4. Add garlic to chicken---but hold off until the end when the onions are almost translucent and soft.

  5. Add cumin while sautéing.

  6. When onions are soft, pour in the rest of the ingredients.

  7. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

  8. Serve in bowl and top with cheese.

  9. Goes nicely with freshly baked Rosemary Bread and butter.

Berry Crumble

This is great for the root chakra or "Muladhara" in Sanskrit. Located in between the perineum and the coccyx or the pelvic bone, it is responsible for your sense of safety and security. The muladhara chakra is the foundation of the physical structure and the energy body so that makes it the most important chakra. Berries are a vital resource because they are grown in Earth’s soil and contain the grounding and stabilizing energy of Earth and therefore heal the root chakra.

Dark bluish fruits like blue berries, black berries, raspberries also help to keep the third eye chakra or "Ajna" centred.


  • 1 1/2 C old-fashioned or quick oats (I prefer the texture of quick oats here)

  • 1 C all-purpose flour

  • 1 C brown sugar

  • 1/4 Tsp. salt

  • 1 C (2 sticks) butter, cut into tablespoon-size pieces


  • 4 C fresh blackberries, washed and dried

  • 4 C fresh blueberries, washed and dried

  • 1/3 C granulated sugar

  • 1/3 C all-purpose flour

  • 1 Tsp. fresh lemon juice
