The Banyan Tree
When last we met ‘Twas nothing more Than celebrations Of closed doors. Returned to you Have I once more On distant waves On distant shore.
By my side the Banyan Tree, Sacred. Reflections, Sky, Root, Stem and Sea.
We meet here By twilight morn’ Smiling, a veil is seen Fragile opening reborn.
By dappled light, The veil to fade, Closed doors again, Into the sea I wade.
